Guests can begin loading the Mount Rainier Gondola at 3:30 PM. It takes approximately 12 minutes to get to the top of the mountain, so please plan accordingly so you are at the top by 4:15 PM. Mountain weather can be unpredictable, especially in September - please plan on bringing extra layers for warmth. There are many uneven surfaces, so we highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes and avoiding stilettos.
